Dear friend

On 22 March 2022, a federal high court in Calabar, Nigeria, finally dismissed the criminal charges against Agba Jalingo, a journalist arrested in 2019 for claiming a Governor had been mishandling state funds.

Thanks to a combination of campaigning efforts, Agba is now home. However, he should never have endured a 30-month trial and 174 days in arbitrary detention, unable to see his family, wondering if he’d ever return home again.

Freedom of expression is a human right.

Yet, for so many others, Agba’s release is still a distant dream. People like 34-year-old lecturer and vocal government commentator Dadiyata, who was taken from his home nearly 3 years ago and hasn’t been seen since.

Following our recent email, over 3,000 Amnesty supporters messaged the Nigerian Police, demanding that they find Dadiyata - so let's keep up the pressure!

Join our Twitter storm and send a Tweet to the Inspector General of the Nigeria Police Force, demanding that he conducts an investigation into Dadiyata’s disappearance as a matter of urgency.

Please note that we got the Twitter account wrong in our last email - it is now even more important to take action today.

Every voice counts. It’s time Dadiyata and his family got the justice they deserve, just like Agba.

In solidarity,
Esther Ikubaje

MICROCHIMERISM: Why Virginity Is Important

The sperm is more than just a fluid, it is a container of genetic information. Meaning when a man ejaculates in a woman, he leaves behind DNA that is stored inside the woman and shared if she gets pregnant. If she aborts, more information is stored Scientists call this phenomena MICROCHIMERISM, there have being done on this phenomena and the results have been mind blowing For example, the more a woman has sex with a particular man, the woman's DNA changes to mimic that of the man to a certain extent. This probably explains why, when a couple has been together for a long time, they end up looking alike Another example, when a woman has DNA traces of many men inside her, she starts to change in her behavior and mannerisms as well, because her cells are changing. This probably explains why prostitutes tend to have all kinds of traits, it's due to having slept with many men Another example, isn't it weird that one child in a particular family can be just totally different from...

A Nigerian international student named Jamil Ezebuike, from Anambra State, has found himself entangled in a legal web in the United States for impregnating police women. Man Used Internet Registry to Track down and Beat up Pedophiles

In February 2018, Jason Vukovich, a 43-year-old man, received a prison sentence of 23 years for a series of assault and robbery offenses. Interestingly, some individuals consider Vukovich a vigilante hero, as all of his victims were identified as pedophiles. Vukovich had previously referred to himself as an "avenging angel seeking justice," but he has since expressed remorse for his actions. After serving six years of his sentence, he will be eligible to apply for parole. During his trial, it was disclosed that Vukovich had been a victim of abuse himself, having been sexually and physically mistreated by his stepfather during his childhood. He has since admitted that his vengeful actions were not justified, and he now assumes "full responsibility for his actions." As per the charges, Vukovich located three separate men via his state's online sex offender registry. Over five days in June 2016, he carried out a violent spree, during which he reportedly knocked one...
