Israel Njemanze was a notable highlife musician who sang to the delight of Nigerians in 1950s. Unfortunately, his life was cut short by some assailants who killed him, dumped and dismembered his body on the railway line in Mushin, Lagos. It's was all fun and excitement at the Eko Atlantic City as Kenya's Bernard Sang won the 24 edition of the Lagos City Marathon. Sang finished 9th and 3rd at the Lagos City Marathons in Years 2020 and 2023 respectively. He braced the tape at 2hrs 15mins. His compatriots, Cheprot and Edwin Kiptoo finished in second and third positions respectively.
