This is a scientific reconstruction of what the world's first modern human looked like. It is in a museum in Denmark and estimated to be 160,000 years old and from Morocco. Now what else is there to say? The first humanity was Black. The first humanity was African. We don't have to run from science. Embrace it. Africa is the birthplace of science and Black men and women were the first scientists. Don't run from it. Deal with it. Don't be like Chump and call what you don't like fake news. Study. Examine. Investigate. And, most importantly, learn to think critically.

How highlife musician, Israel Nwoba was murdered in 1955

Israel Njemanze was a notable highlife musician who sang to the delight of Nigerians in 1950s. Unfortunately, his life was cut short by some assailants who killed him, dumped and dismembered his body on the railway line in Mushin, Lagos. He was reputed for being the leader of the band known as ‘Three Night Wizards’. He was a crowd-puller at every performance. Fanfare as Lagos Marathon ends

It's was all fun and excitement at the Eko Atlantic City as Kenya's Bernard Sang won the 24 edition of the Lagos City Marathon. Sang finished 9th and 3rd at the Lagos City Marathons in Years 2020 and 2023 respectively. He braced the tape at 2hrs 15mins. His compatriots, Cheprot and Edwin Kiptoo finished in second and third positions respectively. The winner of the race will be going home with a cash reward of $50,000 US dollars amongst other exciting prices.

Nollywood in tears as John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu dies at 62

Reports reaching our news desk at Frank Oben Mindspace indicate that veteran nollywood actor and comedian, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, is dead. He was said to have died on Saturday, March 2, 2024. In October 2023, the veteran actor was reported ill and required financial assistance. But in November 2023, Okafor's family confirmed that one of his legs had been amputated to keep him alive He was aged 62
