 Dear Friends and family I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted we shared a lot of things together and have created 2 beautiful children. The last two years have been extremely difficult for us. I know I have tried my best to fix things but I believe it is beyond repair now. 3 months ago and at Funkes insistence I moved out of the house and apart from AMVCA have not been able to get Funke to sit down in an amicable manner to discuss the future of our relationship.  Is it right that when a former Deputy Senate President and his wife are set up in a foreign country, falsely accused, docked and humiliated in this way that our Federal Government will say or do nothing?  I am not asking them to pre-judge the issue but at least they could call on the Brits to be fair, just, reasonable and diligent in the conduct of their investigation and the case.  Sen. He is not above the law but he represents us all by virtue of his status and achievements over the last twenty years.   Few Hours Ago, we told you about the kidnapping of Rev Fr Christopher Odiah, reports coming in has it he is dead . A Catholic priest popularly known as Rev. Father Odiah that was Kidnapped by suspected Fulani Herdsmen in Ikabigbo community, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State was found Dead by Jattu Vigilant.  The Herdsmen had entered the residence of the priest when he was preparing for Sunday Mass and in the process whisked away. Also, the herdsmen had shot 3 of the community boys searching for the reverend father, explaining that one of the victim died immediately and the other two rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The youth wing of apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, has again waded into the raging controversy over the detention of former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice. OYC had earlier urged for caution and an end to the social media trail of the Senator. The group has now written an open letter to the UK Embassy, begging that at least the Senator’s wife be freed to enable her attend to their ailing daughter.
